2020 - Two of our drinking chocolates received Bronze medals at the International Chocolate Awards in Hanover, Germany this past October. The drinking chocolates are the Zapotec Tejate and Colonial New Mexican. We are thrilled to have these Southwestern drinks receive International recognition. Hairy Bikers Route 66 Adventure
In Spring 2019 we were filmed by the BBC for their beloved "Hairy Bikers" series. Si King and Dave Meyers spent the day with us making chocolate, from roasting to winnowing, to grinding, tempering and tasting. The bars they created from Brazilian chocolate then went into a chocolate chili pie they made. Route 66 has been shown in the UK but not shown yet in the US. It will eventually make it to Netflix.

Big Island Chocolate Festival Winner 2012 "Island Bounty" NY Chocolatier Jacques Torres one of 3 Judges.Island Bounty featured the agricultural products of Hawaii in various fine truffles-lavender honey, kona coffee, coconut, lilikoi, mango, sea salt and chili pepper. The exquisite collection of chocolates were all displayed in an edible chocolate ,hand cocoa butter painted Cacao Pod. The Big Island Chocolate Festival is put on annually by the Kona Cacao Association with proceeds benefitting the Culinary school.
