Our retail area is open for limited access to peruse the truffles, bars, coffees and confections and order drinks from the cafe, with outside seating available. We are doing limited classes and tastings with no more than 4 people. Masks are required in New Mexico so we ask that you bring one and wear it during the class out of courtesy and concern for the health and safety of our staff and customers. We practice and are required to follow social distancing guidelines and are taking extra precaution to sanitize.

Looking for something fun and different to do in Santa Fe? Try one of our Chocolate Culinary Classes, Workshops & Special Tastings.
We currently offer a 1 hour Chocolate Factory Tour with Guided tasting, (Wednesday at 1:00 Pm and Sat Am at 10:30 am ) We will explore the journey a cacao bean takes from the orchard to finished product and the process that develops flavor in chocolate. We will do a guided tasting of chocolates produced in house including roasted nibs, 72% single origin chocolates and 60% dark milk chocolates. Learn how chocolate is labelled in the US and what might be lurking in that grocery store commodity chocolate.
Other classes include our flagship 2 hour "Food of the Gods" Chocolate Immersion Workshop.(Sat 1;00-3:00 PM)
At this time we are not offering our Family Chocolate Experience.

Our hands on making and tastings , sprinkled with history and manufacturing present a stimulating atmosphere for these discussions to take place.
Chocolate tastings are a wonderful way to educate your palate, while taking a culinary journey around the equator. A perfect activity for couples, friends and mom's or dad's looking for educational entertainment for their children. Who doesn't love Chocolate? Learn to distinguish Craft chocolate from Mass market chocolate and why and how to choose it. Learn a little chocolate history.
We offer different types of tastings based on flights of origins, single origins & cacao percentage. Its fun and entertaining and you'll certainly get your chocolate fix. Gluten free? No problem, our chocolates contain no gluten.

Food of the Gods-Our signature 2 hour Chocolate Immersion Workshop. We guarantee you will never look at chocolate the same way after participating in this fun hands- on chocolate experience.Empower yourself with the knowledge to understand the chocolate you are buying for your family.
Led by Master Chocolatier Melanie Boudar you will learn about the cacao tree where its grown, the challenges farmers face growing cacao and how it's harvested. What gives chocolate it's flavor? The post harvest practices like fermentation and drying of the beans and finally the critical roasting step which we do in our factory. Participants can crack, winnow and grind beans into a paste suitable to make a drinking chocolate. You will chose spices and sweetness , creating your own signature drink.
After enjoying your handiwork we will do a guided tasting of 7 unique chocolates from different origins, including chocolate grown in Hawaii, the only state in the US able to grow it.
Our time is sprinkled with interesting chocolate facts, an overview of Meso-American chocolate history , a tour of our working chocolate making equipment in the factory and the many adventures we've experienced on our quest for fine chocolate in Venezuela, Belize, Ecuador, Peru, Mexico and Europe.

Factory Tour and Tasting
See and learn about the process of chocolate making in a one hour Guided tour of our Chocolate Production facility including roasting, winnowing, grinding, and tempering of Chocolate. Taste cacao beans and cacao juice. Sample a variety of our hand made bars or other products produced on this equipment.
Tours are offered most Saturdays at 11:00AM. Limited to 5 people.

These workshops are offered on a special occasion basis Saturday from 10:30AM till noon. Limited to 10 people. Cost $25.00 per person includes: cupping, instruction and 1 x 12 oz bag of coffee.
Chocolate Tasting Flight-
Join us on a chocolate tasting Flight to discover the differences in Single origins around the world. Featuring 7 fine Craft Chocolate Makers and chocolate from Vietnam, Bolivia, Ecuador, Madagascar, Peru, Hawaii and Venezuela. These classes can be booked as a special event for your group.
